“BACA 6th Form is a friendly, supportive place to study, with helpful teachers ready to offer support whenever you need it. My advice to younger students would be to study hard and well in advance of the exams, but to make sure you enjoy your studies at the same time. It helps to look at what you plan to do next as early as possible, so you’re aware of the grades you need to get a place and remember that staff are always there to offer advice and guidance.”
Jordan, who was involved in the Aldridge Cricket Academy, obtained successful results in A-Level English Literature, BTEC sport and BTEC ICT. Jordan is looking forward to his next stage in education at Brighton Film School.
“The facilities here at BACA are exceptional and there are so many opportunities on offer. The 6th Form work hard to motivate you and make sure you’re always on track to achieve well – they helped me to improve my grades and the careers team were valuable in my application to film school and ensuring I understood what grades I would need to achieve my future goals. I have learnt that you should make the most of the time you have here, as the work you do now can help decide the career you end up following.”

“BACA 6th Form provided me with a personalised and supportive learning environment which has helped me focus my efforts on my future prospects. The range of extra-curricular activities BACA had to offer me was also excellent, extending learning inside and outside the classroom which I feel have helped prepare me for my next steps in life.”

“I would like to thank all of the teachers for their continuous support and motivation, and for constantly pushing me to maximise my potential. This personalised help and attention that I was given opened up numerous opportunities for me. I would advise younger students to take up subjects that interest you as this makes your learning experience more exciting and engaging.”
